What Are The Basic
Requirements To Enroll With NCU?
(For Bachelor,
Master, and Doctorate Degree Programs)
Our basic academic requirements for consideration for enrollment are the
following:
- If you are
enrolling in a Bachelor's Degree Degree or the Combined
Bachelor/Master Degree program:
You must provide a copy of your high school diploma, or GED
equivalency certificate, prior to graduation from NCU.
- If you are
enrolling in a Masters Degree Program or the Combined Master/
Doctorate Degree Program:
Proof of your Bachelor degree must be provided prior to
graduation from NCU.
- If you are
enrolling in a Doctorate Degree Program:
Proof of your Master Degree must be provided prior to graduation
from NCU.
Note: You can complete your enrollment
and begin your degree program without proof of the required
documentation, however such proof in the form of a degree, diploma,
transcripts etc. must be provided prior to graduation and award of your
degree from NCU.
Our basic financial requirement for
enrollment is the initial payment of the Love Offer in Lieu of Tuition,
based on the minimum amount required as shown in the Application page
for your specific degree program.
A
final basic requirement is simply that you
be a moral and ethical
person who desires to prepare, through Christian education, for
advancement in your Christian life, ministry and career, and reflect a
behavior during your time as a student of NCU that coincides with the
expected Christian life testimony.
Our Accelerated
Academic Degree Program (AADP)
(For Master and
Doctorate Degree Programs Only)
For those
applicants who
have sufficient educational experience, the Northwestern Christian
University Accelerated Academic Degree Program (NCU-AADP), which credits you for prior
educational experience, makes it
possible to complete work on your online degrees in a very reasonable amount of
time. The Accelerated Academic Degree Program (AADP) is available for
all Master and Doctorate Degrees.
The Northwestern Christian University
AADP is available for those who (1) have acquired a prior degree in a
Christian major, or (2) hold degrees in other majors yet can exhibit
competency in the AADP degree major, by (a) submission of transcripts
that reflect a minimum of 30 earned credit hours of prior studies in
courses related to the sought after AADP major, or (b) agree to
complete the 5 five core courses and 2 two major courses not yet
credited in their previous educational studies.
AADP is a degree by research program.
If qualified, the AADP is designed to be accomplished in as little as
(12) twelve weeks to (1) one year from enrollment. Upon completion the
student will receive, based on their program, a Master Degree by
thesis-only in the established major, or a Doctorate Degree by
dissertation-only in the established major. The AADP student transcripts
will reflect a grade based on the submission of their thesis or
dissertation only, and if required, the five core courses and two major
courses.
How Do I Apply To NCU?
We have made it very easy for you to apply to Northwestern Christian
University. You may apply electronically by clicking the APPLICATION button and filling in
the required data fields. You will then simply click the SUBMIT button
to send your information to our staff for review.
Once you submit your application and evaluation
information to Northwestern Christian University, our staff will perform
your preliminary, educational assessment and notify you within just
24-72hours as to your Northwestern Christian University acceptance
or denial.

accredited online
degree program while accomplishing your educational goals,
leading to accelerated accomplishment of your Bachelor, Master and
Doctorate online degrees.
